An unsolved tragic story.

I saw this story on T.V. I wanted to learn more about this mystery. The writer did good describing the events up to the disappearance of the three women.

Fascinating unsolved story ... not much new in this book, though .

This book was a quick read about a really cold case that happened back in 1992. Probably most people that follow true crime stories will have heard of the Springfield 3 , as the case is called.
It's a really weird one because it's very seldom that 3 people come up missing all at once like these ones did. A mother , her 18 year old daughter and one of her daughter's best friends. It's their graduation night and the girls have gone to a couple of parties. They had plans to spend the night at another friend's house then go to a waterpark the next day with a group of friends but they ended up going home to Suzy's house instead.
Sometime in a few hours that early morning they all come up missing. All 3 cars and their belongings remain behind. Nothing is out of place with no signs of a struggle.
This happened 24 years ago. The book goes over general info that I'd already heard of the case. The author has his own theory of what happened. That wouldn't be my guess but at this time , everyone would just be guessing. The only one who knows for sure is the person who did it. I think it was someone that had a connection to one of the 3. Not a random act. I think the person was interviewed many times by police and also on several TV shows.
Unless that person gets a conscience someday I doubt anyone will ever get the answer.
Just a really weird case which I hope someday gets solved so the remaining family members have answers.

Could have discussed more of the current theories.
Strange placement of the generic "serial killer" information. Seems more like an appendix.
